Who we are

Firepit Pizza Tavern is a locally owned restaurant that brings community to your favorite food. This edgy new restaurant concept was developed by Leslie Cohen, a Restaurateur/Chef and native to Atlanta. Leslie is excited to bring authentic brick oven pizza to the neighborhood where she resides. She has brought pride and passion to her career of cooking, which started as a young teen. Her charismatic personality and unique look, clearly convey into her work. She studied Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University and then went on to work under Chef Richard Blais at One Midtown Kitchen. For the past 10 years, Leslie has been the General Manager of the family owned restaurant, Roasters, which has been a staple in Atlanta for over 25 years. Recently, she won the show Cutthroat Kitchen, which is currently the number one rated show on The Food Network. Leslie revealed to the world her expertise and ruthlessness to compete as a Chef.
