Firepit is a full-service restaurant with a chef-driven menu, craft beers, wines, and specialty cocktails. We believe it is important to offer great food, in a unique environment, with a warm welcoming staff. ​Firepit brings seditiously delicious pizza to Atlanta's historic Grant Park neighborhood and is located in the Larkin on Memorial shopping center. We keep our establishment small to form personal relationships with all our guests. As a community-oriented company, we will partner with local organizations and businesses to make our neighborhood prosper.

MEET THE CREW

Firepit Pizza Tavern was created by Leslie Cohen, an Atlanta native and winner of the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen. She has brought pride and passion to her career as a restauranteur, which started at a young age. She studied Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales. Leslie spent 11 years growing her ability to lead as the General Manager of Roasters. With a niche for branding, Leslie spent 3 years developing her first concept and finally opened Firepit Pizza Tavern in June of 2018. With the success of Firepit, she is now in the process of constructing her second concept, Birdcage, which will soon to open in the Fall.

​Executive Chef Shaun Whitmer has a diverse culinary background that includes a variety of different pizza techniques, southern cuisine, and classic American fare. At Firepit Pizza Tavern he has created a innovative and flavorful menu that Atlanta has come to know and love. Thanks to him Firepit Pizza Tavern will forever be known as the home of the unicorn wing. At Birdcage he will once again be brining his talents to the tableside with his approach to Latin American cuisine.
